Born on December 26, 1983, in San Francisco, California, to Taiwanese-American parents, Alexander Wang displayed an early passion for fashion. At 15, he attended a summer design program at Central Saint Martins in London. At 18, he moved to New York City to study at the Parsons School of Design but left after two years to launch his own label in 2005
