Sneakers Like The New Balance 480

New Yorks hottest shoe is the New Balance 480, clean, simple, great price point, whats not to love? With so many great features, we looked around our brands for some sneakers like the New Balance 480. Featuring alternatives from classic sportswear brands, luxury brands, and other shoe retailers.

These shoes are unisex and range between $89-$99 in a handful of different colorways. They remind us of a classic 2000s sneaker, without much of a lift. So without further ado, here are some New Balance 480 alternatives. (We will be featuring both mens and womens options)

From The “Classics”

Reebok Club C 85 : Ranging from $75-$150, this unisex shoe also has grown in popularity the past few years, at an even lower average price point as the 480, this shoe has similar features including the flat and straight sole, low-top style, and side logo branding.

Asics Japan S : Ranging Between $75-$100, These unisex court shoes are new to the Asics world. With that low-top, side logo details, its similar to the 480 but with a bit more bottom detail and a more dramatic toe lift.

Adidas STAN SMITH LUX SHOES: Ranging Between $120-$150, these have a smaller profile and sole than the 480, but are still a classic low-top. With a thinner sole, this is definitely a good option if you want something low profile.

Nike Dunk : Priced Between $120-$160, this famous court sneaker comes in mens, womans, unisex, and even kids! Theres tons of colors to choose from (and even a customize option!) And are a close match to the 480.

For the Luxury Lovers,

Prada Downtown leather sneakers : Priced at $1,100, these sneakers come in both mens and women’s (Mens has quite a few colorways, SHOP NOW button is linked to women’s) This is an elevated option if you’re looking for something a bit more luxury. Prada has ran this sneaker for a few years now and rightfully so, its been a top sneaker in the luxury space!

AMI LOW TOP ARCADE SNEAKERS : $550 These sneakers come in both mens and womens sizing. They do not have the side logo and also have a higher platform but still carry that classic yet elevated court shoe look.

Giuseppi Zanotti GZ94 : Priced Between $550-$795, these sneakers feature the rounded toe, low profile, and a logo in the back. While these have the “puffiness” off an old school skate sneaker, they also have great detailing if you’re looking for something more elevated! These come in both mens and women’s sizes.

The Greats The Kingston : Priced at $220, This sleek sneaker by sneaker maker the greats is a great higher end sneaker without breaking the bank. With that rounded toe, flat profile, it makes a great 480 alternative.

ALLSAINTS Thelma Suede Low Top Sneakers : Priced at $199, these womens sneakers have the classic low profile look but a bit more chic-ness to them.

ALO Recovery Mode Sneaker : Priced at $185, this unisex shoe has more of a rounded and lifted sole, but still feature the side logo, low profile, and classic laceup details.
