Pierpaolo Piccioli – His Legacy and Whats Next

If you’ve been around the fashion block, you have heard the name Pierpaolo Piccioli. The Italian born creative director has only worked for the best brands over the past 30 years. From Fendi to Valentino, his designs and inspirations have made its mark in the fashion world.

After 25 years with Valentino in a joint statement, Pierpaolo and Valentino announced his stepping down as creative director. This came as sudden news to the fashion world but exciting as well, because the Kerring group purchased a portion of Valentino with the option to buy 100% of the brand in 2028.

Since the initial statement, Valentino also announced Alessandro Michelle (Previously at Gucci 2002-2022) will be taking on the roll of creative director for Maison Valentino.

As for Pierpaolo, we havent heard any buzz on his next adventure, but he seems to be making the most out of his creative break, attending the Met Gala with Versace alongside his daughter Benni.

We hope to hear more from him soon and will update as soon as we know more.
